Natural & Organic Ingredients
All Be Wise products are hand blended in my beautiful & functional Apothecary Studio in Whitecliffs Village, located in the Selwyn District. Only the highest-quality natural and organic, plant-based ingredients are used.

Organic ingredients are chosen where possible to support the health of soils and global communities, and naturally pressed non-comedogenic plant oils are chosen because they contain high nutrient content and absorb easily into the skin. NZ ingredients are used where possible to support local folk in business. I am always keeping my ears and eyes open to sourcing good quality NZ grown ingredients & products.

Each ingredient has been meticulously chosen for its nutritional benefit to skin and to enhance the overall product formula.
Pure essential oils are used in most of the Be Wise products at a 1% or less dilution for their skin health benefits and as natural fragrance. There are also fragrance-free products available for people needing to avoid essential oils, for different reasons.

Eco-friendly Packaging
Be Wise use recyclable glass amber bottles which also work to preserve our luxurious oils and essential oils from over-exposure to sunlight, heat and breaking down over time. Creams are packaged in either amber glass jars or aluminium tins with tin lids.
The glass jars, bottles and tins are endlessly recyclable and can be re-used if desired. Refill options are available, so plastic pump lids and glass droppers can be re-used. Local customers (in the Whitecliffs Village, Selwyn District area) can drop off their glass jars to be reused for Be Wise products.
Courier boxes are packed with recyclable paper, corrugated paper and sometimes corn-starch chips are used which are biodegradable and fully compostable. All Be Wise Skincare is hand-blended, packaged and either personally collected or couriered within NZ.

Every effort is made to have the lowest environmental impact as possible; this is an ever-evolving journey, and any ideas or feedback are welcomed.
Hi, I'm Rebecca. I created my range as an extension of my passion for natural, holistic living and to inspire others to use healthy, pure-plant products to support their skin, enjoy a little time for themselves every day and influence their overall health and wellbeing.

I live by the motto ‘nature is where the wisdom lies’ and this is reflected in each of my products by bringing together nourishing plant oil blends and healing herbs in my simple, multipurpose range designed to benefit ALL skin types and for everyone to enjoy, including teenagers. Unisex Essential Oil Blends are used in most of my products at low, skin-friendly percentages, to resonate with nature & are appealing to the senses.
I offer 'essential oil-free' products for those who prefer them, they still carry lovely subtle scents due to their Natural Plant Oils. NZ Blackcurrant, Raspberry Seed & Strawberry Seed Oils particularly shine through.

Everyone’s skin can go through changes due to life stages, hormones, pregnancy, environment, stress, and weather seasons to name a few. This is where a consistent pure-plant skincare routine is key, along with eating wholefoods, getting plenty of sleep, staying active, rest & relaxation, drinking plenty of water and herbal teas can all help to calm and re-set your skin, and promote a return to its natural radiant state.
